Feast of St. Rose and Parish Picnic! Friday, August 24
Welcome St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish
On July 1, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Avon and Ascension Parish in Bradley Beach, officially merged into St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish. Both St. Elizabeth's and Ascension are wonderful communities of faith and they have blended well together. With the intercession of their patron, St. Teresa of Calcutta, may they continue to grow together in faith, hope and charity.

The Rosary Altar Society will be crowning our Blessed Mother on Monday, May 14 at 6 PM. All are welcome to join us!
Rainbows for All Children (pdf)
Rainbows for all Children is a wonderful program that provides peer group support to help children grieve and grow after a loss due to life altering crisis, divorce/separation, death, illness, deployment, incarceration or deportation. It is based at St. Rose but open to all children and the new session begins on March 5. Please see the attached flyer for all the details.
Eucharistic Ministers Needed
If you are interested in bringing communion to Tower Lodge in Wall or the Meridian Sub Acute Facility we could really use your help. It only involves an hour or so of your time and is very rewarding. Call the office 732-681-0512 and leave a message for Sue Durkin. Thank you for considering this valuable ministry.
Home Blessing
To request a blessing of your home for the new year, call the office or put a note in the collection basket. A priest or deacon will contact you to arrange for the blessing.

We are joining a new program here at St. Rose called Caregiver Volunteers. Check the bulletin or go on line www.caregivervolunteers.org. Trained volunteers will be available to visit the homebound, give rides to the doctor's or just to listen. Get involved!

The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy 1.Begin with the Sign of the Cross, 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary and The Apostles Creed. 2. Then on the Our Father Beads, say the following: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. 3. On the 10 Hail Mary Beads say the following: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and the whole world. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all five decades. 4. Conclude with, three times, Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, Have mercy on us and the whole world.
